I currently babysit for a family in South Minneapolis. I started with the family about 2 years ago when the daughter was 2. 5 years old and now she will be 4 next month! I sit for this family once a week, sometimes twice when the husband travels. I also babysit occasionally for a family in Little Canada in the process of moving to St. Louis Park. This family has an 18-month-old girl and a 4-year-old boy. I work in the Minneapolis Public School district as an AVID Tutor with middle school students and attend the University of Minnesota working toward a graduate degree in Youth Development Leadership. My tutor position is only as long as the school year, so I am looking to supplement my income this summer while I take summer courses.
