Hi! I am a 22-year-old student looking for a care-taking position! I am very passionate about care giving and have had a lot of experience over the years. For the past 5 years, I have been a certified caregiver for a 15-year-old girl with Dandy Walker Syndrome. This required a lot of lifting and training, for she could not walk or talk and required full assistance. I was also a caregiver for a 30-year-old man with down syndrome for a year. For the past 2 summers, I have worked with a 67-year-old man with a severe spinal cord injury. Throughout all of these jobs I have learned and practiced patience, punctuality, and have become very nurturing. I took a full training course through the special care agency, which taught me how to perform many tasks such as hygienic care and medication registration. My schedule is very open and flexible. I am very passionate about what I do and am working towards becoming a psychiatric nurse.
