About Monica

I've been caring for children and their families for 20 plus years. . I have my masters certification in early childhood education along with an extensive background in music. I've spent the last five years as a nanny, caring for two families (nanny share) with three children in Leawood, KS. I lived in CA for 20 years. The seven years prior to moving to KC, I worked as a nanny for multiple families with varying needs. I worked as a music and resource teacher for The Village Church preschool in Rancho Santa Fe, CA for 10 years prior to switching to private care. I am passionate about early childhood education, and developing the whole child. I strive to not only provide nurturing care for the children, but also their families, and homes as well. I enjoy helping moms and dads with laundry, organizing, dishes, shopping and cooking for and with the children. It is my desire to find a family or two with infants that I can help nurture and love for 2-3 years.
