I have previous experience as certified nursing assistant in a couple of settings including long term care and at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, WI. Through long term care, I worked at a skilled nursing facility providing care and assisting in patients activities of daily living while making connections with the geriatric population I worked with including dementia care. At Gundersen, I worked primarily with patients experiencing acute mental health crises, substance abuse, and dementia. I also am currently finishing my physician assistant degree and will start a position in orthopedics in September.
