I have extensive experience working with special needs individuals. Over the past 5 years, I have worked as an adaptive sports coach, as a peer in the PALs program, and as a rehabilitation aide in a pediatric rehab clinic. I work to incorporate physical activity and exercise into the daily lives of children, teens, and adult, with a range of disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder, down syndrome, and developmental disorders. I can also help with, Bathing/Grooming/Hygiene and Dressing Assistance. Through my work and volunteering, I have witnessed firsthand the unique challenges and joys that come with raising and caring for special needs children. I understand the importance of patience, empathy, effective communication, and of course, fun.
