About Miriam

Hello families! My name is Miriam, and I have 8 years of experience working with children - from babysitting for families in my neighborhood/church to working at a preschool and school-age care center as an assistant teacher, I have always loved spending time with kids! I am currently a senior in college, studying elementary education with a minor in outdoor education and early childhood education, so I am currently learning a lot about child development, various teaching methods, behavior management, and so many other things that come into play when taking care of children. I love playing games (spot-it is a personal favorite), doing crafts (I recently taught students how to make friendship bracelets and we had a blast!), reading books, and playing outside, so expect your kiddos to have tons of fun while I care for them! I also have a reliable and safe car and would be happy to help out with carpooling. Let me know if you think I would be a good fit for your family!
