About Mindy

I'd describe my personality as friendly, thoughtful, and kind. I like caring for seniors because I have always respected and enjoyed the company of my elders going back to being a caretaker for my own grandparents at the age of 13. I'm looking for a job that I can develop trust and a good relationship with the individual beyond just someone who works for them. In my spare time, I am busy with my two active teenagers. My daughter is involved with dance and my son plays basketball year round. One thing you should know about me is that I have worked in the human service field since 1999. I have worked with children, adults, and the elderly throughout this time. I'm a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Massachusetts since 2001. While in graduate school I worked in a nursing home setting for 3 years. My skills include developing a good rapport with most anyone. I meet people where they're at. I'm caring, empathetic, and understanding of other's needs.
