I used to work with kids with special needs in high school, and have loved kids since a very young age. Mikel is a creative and compassionate caregiver for children. She has fun with the kids and they love her childlike heart! I love how responsible and affectionate she is towards them. She parents them the way I would. Mostly, I found my favorite thing about her was how immediately receptive she was to picking up on my suggestions about things I wanted tuned a bit in the flow of their day - if I asked that she play more learning games she was on it like white on rice! She found out my 2 year old's best learning style and found ways to teach her. It's incredible to hear her speak in full grammatically correct sentences after a few weeks of Ms. Mikel working with her. She was perfect for my little girl! She also welcomed my older daughter to play after preschool and they had fun too. Everybody loves Ms. Mikel! (And I forgot to mention, she is perfectly prompt.)
