About Mikayla

Hi families!! My name is Mikayla ! I am a senior at Western Carolina University. My major is Elementary Education with a minor in English. Teaching and working with kids has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. I'm super excited to be a teacher because I'm excited to grow the minds of tomorrow's leaders! I want to make a difference and an impact on the children I interact with in school and out of school. I have been in childcare for 8 years. I have taken care of children from ages 0-13. I have serviced childcare for church nursery, date nights, during the week while parents work, taking kids to and from camps, and more! I enjoy hiking, camping, Star Wars, Dunkin coffee, arts and crafts, music, Legos, and more! I am extremely punctual, on-top of things, and communicative. I'm excited to get work with you!
