About Mikayla

Hello! My name is Mikayla . I am a recent graduate from Nova Southeastern University, where I majored in neuroscience and history. During my time at Nova I was a student mentor responsible for meeting with assigned students on a weekly basis. As a mentor I would assist my assigned mentees with any academic assistance they needed, ranging from assistance in completing science research papers or guidance on how to properly take notes on large reading assignments. I also volunteered at the Nova Blanche Elementary School for two years as a science volunteer for their afterschool science camp program. I love learning and love to help kids understand the subjects that they are struggling with. I believe that with a little patience and a lots of encouragement, anyone can fall in love with learning and gaining new knowledge!
