Hello! I am Michelle, and I am an experienced tutor with a college degree in psychology. The majority of my experience is with elementary and middle school students, but I am open to children of all ages. Though volunteer based, I have counseled over 40 young adults in the past 2 years. Learning a new skill can have its challenges as a child. However, I aim to help children process their emotions to make their learning experience a positive one. I’m so thankful for Michelle! My son struggles a lot with math and I was really concerned because he was below proficient for his grade level. However, Michelle stepped in and worked with him! She had so much patience, consideration, and care for him during her time working with us. She also encouraged and motivated him to help change his thinking to believe that he can improve while showing him how to work through problems in a way he could understand. Now he’s excelling in math and it’s become something he’s excited to do. I even recommended her to other parents of the students in his class! Her help was well needed and appreciated!
