About Michelle

I home-schooled my daughters kindergarten through 8th grade, then became a successful public school 6th grade English teacher for four years for inclusive, diverse, large classes. My Virginia certification did expire last year. While homeschooling, I was a tutor in Classical Conversations national program and was a Girl Scout leader, 4h leader, JR Achievement leader and Relay For Life team leader for a student team. My teaching certification was in middle and high school English, however my BS is in Marketing and Management and I worked as an Account Executive before becoming a mom. It is now such a great honor and true joy to tutor amazing students who just need a helping hand in reaching their full potential. I work with elementary and middle schoolers in reading, comprehension, English grammar and mechanics and writing.
