I have worked with adults and children with disabilities for a total of 7 years . I began my journey working with elderly patients as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), where I cared for individuals who were either paraplegic or had alzheimer's. In 2019, I had transitioned my focus to ABA, where I spent the majority of my time interacting with non-verbal children on the Autism Spectrum (ages 2-9). I became a senior Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) through my years of experience; and I am very comfortable working with individuals in this demographic. In addition, I also have a teenage brother who is autistic and has cared for on my father's behalf. I understand the importance of rapport building and identifying precursors that may trigger particular behaviors. I make sure to always be attentive to my patients' needs and give them the proper care necessary for their well-being.
