I'd describe my personality as patient, empathetic and adaptable. I like working with kids because of the rewarding nature of witnessing their growth and development. I have five years experience working with children. In my spare time, I like to travel, and spend time in nature. One thing you should know about me is that I am ethical, empathetic and reliable early childhood developmental caregiver. My skills include active listening, patience, empathy, behavioral management, communication, engaging play, curriculum planning, organization, child development, problem solving, first aid and safety. I pay close attention to children's verbal and non-verbal cues to understand their needs and feelings. As a psychology major graduate level clinical intern, I understand child development stages, using appropriate and consistent disciplinary techniques, and focusing on teaching children appropriate behavior.
