Hello! I'm Mia! I am so excited to meet you and to help your child feel validated, safe, happy, and help them learn and grow. I went to camp as a Leader in Training for two summers where they taught us how to work with kids and paired us with a mentor to help the kids. These kids were about 6-10yrs old. I then started work at the Valpo YMCA in October 2022 - July 2023 where I worked with ages 2-5yrs. I have helped with special needs. I am currently going to Ivy Tech to become a lead elementary teacher. I'd describe my personality as calm, empathetic, creative I love working with kids because I hope to make a positive impact in society and the future generations One thing you should know about me is I was in JROTC for 4 years and I am certified in CPR, BLS, and disaster relief. I will also bring a first aid kit. I also know some Spanish.
