About Mia

Hi, My name is Mia. I have five years of childcare experience. My most recent childcare position was a nanny share with a 2-year-old and a 9-month-old. Before becoming a nanny, I was a preschool teacher for 2 years. I loved getting to know all the children, but being private nanny allows me to help each child individually. Prior to that, I was a swim teacher and lifeguard for 2 years while completing my lead teacher certification. I learned so much about monitoring safe situations and helping young children overcome their fears. I also worked for a food justice non-profit for 1 year, I have a degree in music education, and I have assisted families with driving, tutoring, and babysitting. Aside from that, I love to cook, garden, and sing. I love art, especially crochet, watercolor, and photography. I train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and love hiking. I keep spaces clean, organized, and ready for any kind of activity. I am so excited to meet new families and help them function their best!
