My mom had Alzheimers for 10 years. I was her health care surroga from the time she could not live independently to going into Adult Day Care to Assisted Living and finally Long term care. Sh passed away October 2016 and I would volunteer to the Alzheimers Association and spend the rest of my career giving to the Aging and memory impaired adults. I have been in social work for over 30 years.
