About Merlinda

Greetings. My name is Merlinda and I currently reside at Queens, NY. I am 33 years old. I firmly believe that children thrive best on schedules. During the average day in my care you can be sure that children will participate in a schedule which encourages a variety of functions to assist them grow and develop into well rounded little people. These functions may include socialization, outings to explore the world around them which involves picnics, play dates, or long walks, proper nap schedules, healthy meals, independent play, interactive play and educational activities, crafts and games. I believe in encouraging proper behavior by acting as example to children and that it is very important that my yes means yes and my no means no. I find that implementing this at the beginning of our relationship will create a mutual respect and trust that maintains things peacefully and creates little need for actual punishment.
