About Mercedes

Hi families! My name is Mercedes. I bring over a decade of diverse experience in childcare, education, and special needs support. I am currently a paraprofessional at a local middle school and pursuing a dual Bachelor's in Special and Elementary Edu. Throughout my career, I've worked as a nanny, toddler teacher, PCA, and cheer coach. These roles have helped me develop strong skills in behavior management, lesson planning, and creating fun, structured environments where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to grow. I am certified in CPR, First Aid, and AED, and have experience caring for children of all ages. I love creating meaningful learning opportunities, helping with routines, and collaborating with families to meet each child's individual needs.
