About Melody

Hi I'm Melody, I have been working with seniors for two years now starting as an activities aide for an assisted living, from there I went into a skilled nursing facility where I became a Certified Nursing Assistant. I have currently had this title for a year. I also have just under a year of experience providing in home care. My skills vary from providing assistance to activities of daily living to simple household tasks. My long term goal is to become an RN, in the meantime I aim to provide quality care to my clients. In my spare time, I like to cook and experiment with new recipes. I also try to get some exercise in either at the gym or on a good hike. My favorite care skills to preform are: bathing, cooking and mobility/transfer assistance. Assisting with these tasks allows seniors to maintain independence and interpersonal connections.
