Compassionate, experienced, caregiver assisting aging individuals seeking assistance w/ ADL's, companionship including those w/ varying degrees of intellectual deficiencies, physical & or mental impairments. (Former work w/ children in academic setting) Dignity preservation is my high priority for all individuals to feel important & maintain a sense of control in their life. Optimizing an individual's comfort ensures willingness to accept help & build a trusting relationship. Current in CPR & AED, educated on Abuse & Neglect, experience w/ dysphasia, seizure disorder, autism, Fragile X, medication administration, among others. Enjoy engaging w/ individuals to gain a sense of personal preference, learn history, & listen to stories about what life was like for them.
