About Melissa

I'd describe my personality as outgoing, compassionate, reliable. I like caring for seniors because both my grandparents required in-home care in their final years. We formed a wonderful relationship with their caregiver. I have worked as a patient care tech in an emergency room setting with three years of experience. I also work for a nonprofit that specializes in medical equipment and spend majority of my days assisting those in need of medical items to help them recover and recuperate. I'm looking for a job where I can find that connection with the family. I don't want things to feel transactional but more as if a family friend is coming over to help. In my spare time, I like to spend time with family, garden, and care for our animals (dogs, chickens, pigs). One thing you should know about me is I am very easy-going and can adapt to many situations easily.
