Hello. My name is Melissa, I'm 42 years old, so I have a lot of years of care under my belt! I started working with kids when I was 19, working with at-risk youth in AmeriCorps, Seattle. From there, I worked in a daycare center for the University of Washington for 2 years. I decided that becoming a nanny and doing more personalized care was what I wanted to do. I did that for 10 years until moving back to the Quad Cities with my son. I love cargiving, so I went and got my CNA license and have been doing that for the last 8 years. My boys are getting older now, and I'd love to get back into childcare because I love working and being with little ones! The world is their oyster to explore and learn from, I value being a part of that!
