About Melanie

Hello! My name is Melanie. I am 31 and have 12 years of childcare experience with children newborn through age 22. I have experience as an intensive care case manager, so I am familiar with medical, behavioral, and health needs. I have my EEC preschool certification, LSWA, and am CPR/first aid certified. I am looking to provide full time childcare for your child(ren), along with my 1-year-old, either in your home or mine! My favorite thing to do is get the kids outside, exploring, and learning new things! I believe the best way to learn is through play. I follow a more Montessori style with my daughter, facilitating independence and exploration while supporting safety and education. I am looking for a position starting around the beginning of the upcoming school year (Fall '24). I am happy to take care of mixed ages as well!
