About Melanie

I'd describe my personality as patient, kind, and thoughtful. I like tutoring because I love seeing children make progress in their learning and skills. I'm looking for a job that allows me to help students overcome their academic challenges. I started tutoring when I became a teacher. I've been teaching since 2000. In my spare time, I like to travel, read, play my guitar, and sing. One thing you should know about me is I have a bachelor degree in liberal studies, a master's degree in counseling, and 2 teaching credentials; one in multiple subjects and one in English. My skills include reading, writing, phonics, and elementary math.
