About Melanie

Hi! My name is Melanie! I am a recent graduate The University at Albany. I have lived in the capital region since 2020, during which I attended Siena College for my Bachelors. With a graduate degree and two years of experience caring for children, I bring passion and dedication to every child I care for. As a social worker, I understand child development and am equipped to handle challenging situations with patience and emotional intelligence. I enjoy engaging children through outdoor activities, board games, and even some technology-based games. I provide regular updates via text or phone call, and I always follow parents' preferred communication methods and household rules. I am also happy to help with cooking, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. My goal is to support your family and foster your child's growth, and I hope to bring my friendly and creative energy to your home! I am mainly looking for a full time position that start at the end of June.
