For the past two and a half years (on a weekly basis before I started attending college, and to this day when I am home) I've been watching over two 7 years old children with autism. In addition, my oldest brother (age 23) has autism and I have helped care for him for as long as I can remember. Unlike many caregivers, I have had experience with special needs for the entirety of my life, and being able to help out and teach is a great joy and something that will continue to be a part of my life for a long time.
