About Megan

Dear Families, in these challenging and constantly changing times for our students I see incredible potential for learning, growth and success in school. I believe learning happens through play, inquiry and questions. So, I tutor through these vehicles. I am resourceful, kind, optimistic, energetic and thoughtful. As a graduate student I have encountered material that challenged me emotionally and psychologically. I have learned how to work with frustration, self-doubt and discouragement to achieve success in school. I am intimately familiar with online learning as a student and instructional assistant. Additionally, I tutored students in chemistry, biochemistry and biotechnology for three years at MiraCosta College in California. During that time I realized my talent for communicating complex information in simple ways and how much I enjoy participating in students' success. As I complete my master's I am looking for flexible work that I enjoy. Help is on the way!
