About Megan

I'd describe my personality as friendly, energetic, and patient. I like working with kids because they make me smile on a daily basis with their humor, empathy, and little wins! I started working with kids when I was in high school babysitting my neighbors. After graduating undergrad as ASL interpreter, I worked in the dorms at a School for the Deaf looking after high school students after school. Since graduating with my Masters in Deaf Education I have been teaching Deaf students in 3rd grade, 4th grade, and currently Kindergarten! In my spare time, I like to be outside. I love hiking, reading a good book at the park, finding new pop up events to go to locally, or even taking day trips around the bay to check out cool new places. One thing you should know about me is that I'm very patient. I aim to make children feel okay with making mistakes and look for ways to accommodate their diverse needs. My skills include being easygoing, attentive, and creative.
