About Megan

Hello. My name is Megan and I am currently located in the Lakewood-Tacoma area of Washington State. Working with children has always been something that I really enjoy doing since I, myself, was younger. In the past, I have been the nanny for 5 small children on a 5 day a week basis. This included children that were that ages of 4 years, 5 years, 7 years, 9 years, and 10 years. During this time, my duties included arriving promptly at 8:00 a.m. and preparing breakfast for the kids. Throughout the day, I had the pleasure of playing games with the kids, helping clean up around the house (dishes, laundry, mirrors, etc.), preparing lunch and dinner, and making sure any other tasks that were requested of me were completed. I also have the experience of working in the Kids Club area. While working there, I was responsible for signing children in and out of the day care and making sure all of the proper paper work on the children were completed. If the child (children) had any sort of allergy or health concern it was my duty to find out about it, and take the proper precautions to make sure the child wasn't being endangered in any way. I also cleaned, made sure the kids were having fun, using the "potty" when necessary, and were behaving themselves. I watched children who's ages ranged from 6 months to 12 years. Being an expectant mother myself, I find it very crucial to make sure that the person you choose to watch your child/children is trustworthy and reliable.
