About Ebony

I first started watching children when I was 13 years old as a babysitter for my sister and then my friend's parents. It became something that I loved to do not just because I was getting paid but, because of the experience I was gaining getting to know how to take care of a child it grew on me. I became a reliable source for many mothers that wanted a babysitter and I was proud that I could give back. The children are not just kids that I cared for, but were kids I cared about and wanted to succeed in life. My experience was very different with every child that I watched. I learned a lot of different things about parents and how boys and girls differ and how they are the same. I have watched children form newborn to 8 years old. Some of my duties where to change diapers and make bottles, cook, clean. When the child was older, I began to play educational games with her/him and take her/him to the park and play and do other activities.
