Hi. Two years ago my mother underwent brain tumor removal surgery and unfortunately became disabled because of it. I made the decision to leave my job of almost 15 years in the financial industry to become her caregiver as nursing home was not an option in my opinion. She gave me life and did so much for me that it was my way to pay it back. While she slept, I decided to go to school at night and obtain my CNA certification in order to give her the best quality care I could possible coupled with lots of TLC. I feel that this is my way of "paying it forward" and I know and understand how difficult it is to manage daily life while at the same time looking for someone to care for our loved ones and have peace of mind. I have experience working with disabled and cancer patients as well as patients with Aphasia. I have 3 children ages 17, 13 and 11 and being a parent and caregiver is by far the most challenging job but the most rewarding giving care is my calling.
