About Maya

Hello! I am a recent college graduate, with a degree in Education and lots of experience in music. I am available for occasional nannying and tutoring until the end of the summer. In the fall, I plan to start a full time elementary teaching position, but I may still be available in evenings and on weekends. Over the past 8 years, I have babysat for families with multiple children of various ages (1 to 12+), including children with special needs. As a new teacher, I am well-equipped to help with summer school or supplemental academics for any grade level. I am a photographer and singer and love doing music, crafts, cooking, and exploring the outdoors with the kids I babysit. I have lots of practice getting little kids' wiggles out from taking care of my 2 younger brothers. I also speak Spanish and a little bit of French.
