About Maya

I've been around children my whole life; I'm the eldest of six and have always loved nurturing and caring for them. That passion led me to major in child development in college. My three years of experience as a childcare provider have further fueled my desire to make a positive impact on children's lives. As a patient, calm, friendly, and respectful individual, I understand the importance of open communication with parents. I provide regular updates on their child's day and am always available to discuss any issues that may arise. I am also very comfortable enforcing household rules to ensure a safe and structured environment for the children in my care. From engaging in outdoor sports and physical games to playing board games and puzzles, I enjoy a variety of activities that promote learning and fun. I'm comfortable caring for up to two children between the ages of 0 and 11, and I speak English, French, and Spanish.
