I have 5 years experience working as a behavioral therapist for children with autism (ages 3-13), and 2 years experience working as a respite care provider for a 13 year old boy with Autism. I am used to working one on one for the in home therapy. I am patient, determined, and caring. I not only have experience working with academics and self help skills, but also with community outings. Also, I was trained in LAUSD to be responsible for a first grade child with type 1 Diabetes ("extreme hypoglycemia"). I was to look for the signs that he was low, test his blood, and get him food or snack he needed to bring it up. I was trained to use an epi-pen but have never used one.
