I'm the oldest of 6, so I've been taking care of children my whole life! I was a live in nanny for a year, with childcare of others here and there for several more. I'm one of the few people my friend's trust with their children and have a great rapport with them. I like to keep myself to a standard of being the adult my younger self needed as a child, with nothing but heartwarming support and understanding for all kids I come into contact with (: I can't even imagine myself doing any other profession, that's how passionate I am about the well-being of children. Matthew has watched my kids on numerous occasions over the last 6 years. He helped me with my 6 year old from 5 days after she was born as I was physically unable to attend to her needs to the level she deserved. He has since then helped me with my other two children as well. My toddler has autism, and the patience and compassion he has shown her was so heartwarming. My kids have always been immediately comfortable in his presence, and are quick to ditch mama for him whenever he arrives to babysit! Matthew is a very kind, caring, patient, and observant individual. He notices shifts in emotion in children and is very quick to attend to their needs, as well as making sure multiple children are getting equal attention at once. I would recommend him to any parent who's looking for a sitter they don't have to second guess; someone who they feel at ease leaving their whole lives with. In this day and age it's hard to leave your kids with anyone anymore, but he has time and time again proven he is trustworthy and able!
