About Mary

I'd describe my personality as creative, intuitive, and professional. I like tutoring because it allows me to help students that need more personalized attention to complete or understand what they are learning. I'm looking for a job that is student focused. I have been working in the public school system since 2005. I have taught in K-8th grade. I have been working as a 1st grade teacher since 2020. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family including our two dogs, enjoy nature, and organize my house. One thing you should know about me is I am very patient and understand that every child learns differently. My skills include owner and manager of a daycare for 4 years, certified elementary school teacher, and I hold a degree in Early Childhood Education as well as a master's degree in psychology.
