About Mary

I have been watching children for 40 years. I am a mother who loved being a stay at home mom. Yet I equally loved working when my children were older. I tutored and taught Math (my undergrad degrees are in Math & Science). I know that parenting is the hardest yet most rewarding job. I also know there are many roads to a destination as there are many ways to parent to produce a healthy, happy functioning adult. My point in stating this is: I do not judge others' parenting choices. I just finished taking care of 2 children, for 18 months. (Infant and 5-year-old at the start) And I am happy they are are now back with their mum. I love & miss them but there's a joy in seeing them reunited with their primary family. I am a firm child caregiver but I do not believe in corporal punishment unless all other forms of discipline have failed. I am looking forward to this transition. Thank you
