I have worked with children in all age groups since 1985. With a MA in Human Development most recently I have been teaching community college for Early Childhood Education part time for the past 20 years. I retired a couple of years ago and teach 1-2 classes a semester. Additionally I help to run a non-profit children's library, the Margo Trombetta Peace and Anti-bias Children's Library at Cabrillo College in Aptos, CA. I am looking for part time work to augment our income. I enjoy being with children and supporting their development through play and exploration. My favorite ages are under 5 years old, although I also enjoy working with school age children. I have 12 years experience as a Toddler Teacher, 10 as a Preschool Teacher and 15 as a Center Director. I am looking for the right fit for my family and yours.

Mary helped look after our 4 year old twins when they had a day off at their preschool. She had asked us what the kids like and got plenty of library books to read for them. She was very patient with my son who tends to be sensitive and also made sure that my sometimes-shy daughter gets heard and encouraged. She also did a lot of hands-on fun and creative activities. The kids had a blast of indoor and outdoor fun along with learning. Not only does Mary have amazing credentials but she is also a wonderful person. We feel so lucky to have found her! Can't wait to have her over again.
