About Marykay

I'd describe my personality as reliable, caring and energetic. I like caring for seniors because I have a background caring for adults with developmental disabilities and I found it extremely rewarding. I'm looking for a job that allows me to be of help to those who need help with their hygiene, housework, meal preparation and medication preparation. I started caring for seniors when I started working for a center in Syracuse, NY 7 years ago. Most clients had developmental disabilities and/traumatic brain injuries. In my spare time, I like to go to the beach, explore the historic sites in our new hometown, and spend time with my 5 children ages 13-30 and two grandchildren. One thing you should know about me is I am a registered nurse and I have 30 years of experience under my belt caring for people. My skills include medication preparation, help with hygiene and making sure their home is free of safety concerns.
