About Maryann

I am a Certified Medical Assistant. I worked in a doctor's office until my grandmother took ill with Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and diabetes. My duties were bed, bathing, feeding, stomach tube, medicine, dressing and grooming. We also did Physical and Occupational Therapy together. I then taught her HHCP's how to help care for patients. I always brought patients to the doctor, but through an ambulance service that came to get us, and bring us home. I went on with care-giving for the elderly, and also companionship. I help prepare meals and feed my patients if needed, and keep them busy. I will also do light housekeeping if needed. I belonged with the First Aid squad. I am CPR certified, AED certified, and First Aid certified.
