Senior care experience working for TNCare Choices program as a full time 24 hour live-in caregiver for 4 years for a family. 4 years of private care. I am available for companion care in home or hospital/nursing facility setting. I can prepare a variety of dietary needs including puréed. I can assist with feeding and swallowing exercises. At medical appointments, I can record and provide written summary for the which families have found helpful. I have helped with keeping medication organized with pharmacy. Strategies for self independence verbal, written, and technological support. I can assist with staying active and socialization in or outside home. Assisting with transportation. Assistance with grooming with hair and makeup. I can no longer help with lifting for toileting, bathing, chair transfers, and moderate housework. However, I can stand by assist with transfers and bathing for safety. Lastly, I'm willing to help in any way that I can in helping manage the home and routine.
