About Maritza

I'd describe my personality as organized, reliable, and responsible. I like caring for seniors because I feel like I am constantly learning something new. I'm looking for a job that allows me the flexibility to attend school. I started caring for seniors at my previous job as a direct support staff for individuals with intellectual disabilities 5 years ago. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my loved ones, dance, and read! One thing you should know about me is I am not certified in caring for seniors, however I cared for my grandparents, taking them to their appointments, and helping with their medications. I also worked with a few seniors at my previous job for 2 years, assisting with meal preparation, medication management, and their daily activities. My skills include cleaning, medication set up, and transportation.
