About Marissa

Hi, my name is Marissa. I have volunteered at my church in the junior high program with middle school age. I have also worked with kids at a daycare and learning center for about a year. I have experience working in a class setting (4-8 children at a time) with kids ranging from age 4 months to 9 years old. I have found that I enjoy spending time with a smaller amount of children at a time so I can personalize each child's care and fulfill the attention they need to feel safe and secure. I have also completed 12 college credit units to better understand child development and their needs. I aim to promote healthy development and boost self esteem by being a listening ear and a support system for difficulties at school.
