About Marissa

Hi! I'm a college student majoring in the STEM field. I've been caring for children on my own since I was 14 and through my work as a Medical Assistant at a pediatrics doctor's office, I've become comfortable caring for children of all ages, from a few weeks old to teenagers. Additionally, I'm happy to work with sick and special needs children. Extra tasks are no problem in most situations; whether that is meal prep, driving to-and-from activities, or supervising pool time. When caring for kids, I'm the type of person that will help them build a pillow fort to color in- after we finish their homework. I strongly believe in the power of positive reinforcement and I love to teach kids about whatever gets them excited to learn.
