About Marissa

Hello! I'm Marissa, and I'm a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher/assistant with over 3 years of experience in the field. I'm working on getting my CDA and am passionate about fostering a positive and nurturing learning environment for young children. I'm experienced in curriculum development, observation of children, and providing support to teachers and my babies! I'm particularly skilled at creating fun and engaging activities for kids. I'm available for part-time/full-time nanny roles and babysitting gigs, and am also happy to help with pet care. I am CPR/First Aid certified. I like working with kids because I love seeing children learn, grow, and develop into confident, self-sufficient individuals, it's a deeply rewarding experience. I started working with kids when I was in high school. My mom owned her own daycare center for years where I would volunteer. After graduating I went to go work for the daycare full time. From that point on I stayed in childcare.
