About Marissa

With four years of experience as a reading instructor at an elementary school, I have had the pleasure of working with students ranging from kindergarten through sixth grade. My passion for fostering a love of reading and helping students develop strong literacy skills drives my teaching approach. I am currently pursuing a degree in Elementary Education at Prescott College, where I am set to graduate in 2026. I believe in creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where every student feels confident and motivated to succeed. Whether it's building foundational reading skills in younger students or refining comprehension and fluency for older learners, my goal is to meet each student where they are and guide them toward academic growth. I look forward to helping your child unlock their full potential in reading and education!
