Marilyn started with us over a year ago and quickly became a part of the family. She brings energy, enthusiasm, and happiness to our home. She adapts well to our ever changing needs, thinks well on her feet, and manages to be both flexible and organized. She integrates her knowledge and experience with our parenting style. She is a great communicator, listens to our needs and makes helpful suggestions. She balances keeping our two children busy, while allowing time for independent play. She helped our son with potty training, and the transition to preschool. She works with both of our children on problem solving, conflict resolution, and processing their emotions. She has prepared healthy and nutritious meals and kept their play area clean and tidy. She keeps them on a schedule, takes them to parks and swim lessons. She engages them in age appropriate crafts and activities, sings with them, and has cared for them while they were sick. She is a native Spanish speaker and has taught our children Spanish. Most importantly, she truly treats them as her own, and we have never had to worry for their safety and well being while they were in her care.
