About Maria

As a mother of three and a former preschool teacher at my local church for 14 years, I understand the importance of providing nurturing and reliable child care. With three years of experience as a childcare provider, I am comfortable caring for up to two children, from ages four to 11. I am fluent in English and Spanish. I am passionate about helping children learn and grow, and I strive to create a safe and nurturing environment where they can thrive. I am patient, calm, friendly, and approachable, and I have a warm and loving personality. I believe in open communication with parents and will follow their preferred method of communication to discuss their child's day or any issues that may arise. I am very comfortable enforcing household rules and am happy to help with cooking, meal preparation, carpooling, light housekeeping, and supervising swimming. I also love playing board games and puzzles with children, as well as educational games that promote learning.
