About Mariana

My younger brother, who was born with Down syndrome. From the time he was a baby, I naturally stepped into a caregiving role, helping with his feedings, learning his routines, and being one of the first people he truly connected with. As he grew, so did my responsibilities, from helping him with communication and learning skills to simply being there with patience, love, and understanding when he needed it most. Through him, I've learned how to support someone with both emotional and developmental needs. He's taught me more than any book or class ever could in my opinion i've learned how to be patient when things take longer, how to celebrate small wins, and how powerful it is just to show up with care and consistency.
